During the winter 2026 it will be arranged a Snowkite Race Cup in Norway. Four various organizers will arrange different snowkite competitions which all will include one or more races.
Each competition will also be a separate competition with several other classes. Rules and race manual will be published at their respective race meetings.
All races are open for foreigners.
The following competitions are included in the Snowkite Race Cup 2026. One race weekend each month.
- January, Snowjam, Fagerheim
- February, Finsregattaen, Finse
- March, Norwgian Championship, Storwartz
- April, Hardangervidda Kiteraces, Fagerheim
Snowkite race classes
The Snowkite Race Cup 2026 will be arranged in the following classes:
- Men open class
- Women open class
- Junior men open class
- Junior women open class
Junior is below 18 years of age on the last race weekend
International participants are welcome at all races.
Open class in the cup is foil, tube, single skin, skisail.
Important:
Each competition will be a separate competition with several kite/skisail classes and a following price ceremony.
Rules will be published at their respective race meetings.
Registration will be published at local web sites, social media etc. We will publish the registration links.
We will keep an updated result list after each race weekend
Price ceremony for the the cup at the last race weekend.

The score system
- 50% of the races arranged will count in the cup
- You will get a max score if you participate in 50% of the races or more
- We don't know the total amount of arranged races until the last competition has finished.
- If you participate in more races, your 50% best will be the result
- If 50% of the races are 4,5 it will be 5. We add up.
- If two or more have the same score, the athletes will be ranked according to the best finishing place.
- If you still have the same ranking on the result list, additional race results will differ the ranking
- Participation in more than 50% of the races pays off
